Warranty Terms of GPS Vehicle Tracker

Warranty Period
 
SATHYA shall give warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase of GPS tracking devices. All defects and deficiencies will be handled, during the warranty period.
 
Warranty doesn’t cover if –

  • Burning of Device due to Fire or Over-voltage from the vehicle battery
  • Physical Damage of the device by force
  • Short circuiting the device
  • Un-authorized Opening of the GPS device
  • SIM card damage
  • Cutting of connection wires
 
Alteration
 
No alteration should be made by your company in the SmarterPing device. Should circumstances arise which call for modifications, it will be done by mutual consent of the both the parties in writing.
 
Technical Problem

  • GPS Device not sending or receiving data
  • GPS Device malfunctioning
  • Software Application Problem
 
Physical Damage
 
We have observed instances where certain drivers mishandled our GPS Kit by improperly removing the power supply, damaging or removing the GPS Kit itself, disconnecting the external GSM/GPS antennas, and removing the SIM card, among other actions. In order to prevent and manage this issue, SATHYA has implemented a solution by applying tamper-proof stickers during the GPS Device installation process. Should the client discover a broken or open sticker, they will be responsible for covering the applicable service and transportation charges.
