This issue may occur, if there already exists another Android device / GPS Vehicle Tracking device with the same IMEI number which is used by the server for the unique identification of devices.
If you see this message when you try to add your Android device / GPS Vehicle Tracking device in your Smarterping account, it means that the IMEI number is already associated with a Smarterping account. It's also possible that someone else accidentally entered your IMEI number when adding a device in their user account, but was never able to verify email ownership.
To reclaim the privilages to add the IMEI number, please send an e-mail to email@example.com from the email address associated with your Smarterping account with following details:
