Cause:
 
Users, who are trying to use their Android device as GPS tracker with Smarterping-tracker apps, will receive this error, if the Service status option is stopped.
 
Solution:
 
1. To enable Service status option, tap the menu button on your home screen and then select
    Smarter Ping.
 
 
2. Scroll down the list and tap Service status.
 
 
3. Make sure the option Service status shows Service running on the interface.
